Hi I’m looking for a 1 bedroom or a studio I’ve been to ram a 3 before and I like the location please send me pictures and the price of what’s available
Room for sale in Tower 4. Asking price is 4.5 million Baht
3Bed room well furnished and maintained. tower 4, 9th floor(+7 because of parking floors, floors to ground and beneath parking), View : The road, some river and Krungsri bank which is one of the best looking buildings in rama3. No problems or issues in this room, equipped with high end induction stoves, water heaters, a/c’s, and a imported water filter which has 6 filters. etc.. new high quality wooden floor, a lot of built in furniture to save space and storage. Very practical design. We are only selling the room with the furniture.
This room has only had one owner (me) and everyone who lives in the house are clean freaks. No odors or major stains. Good and quiet neighbors. comes with parking space.
The reason why this room is for sale is because I got a job that is far from the city, driving 150km for work is not going to be a good plan in the long run, we are not in a hurry at all to sell the room.
asking price is 4,500,000 baht with a very slight margin for negotiation under certain circumstances. I also have other rooms for sale, so please do not hesitate to contact me.

That is the mystery about SV City. There are a couple of thousand units here. Most of them are unoccupied. Someone owns all these units. Monthly maintenance fees must be paid on all the units whether they are rented or not. Therefore, those owners are losing a lot of money every year. It is therefore logical that those unit owners should care about the falling rents, lack of maintenance, crime, etc, because they are losing money both in rent revenue and through falling property values. But no one seems to care. There is no Owner Association, no newsletter, no one even bothers coming to the General Meeting. That’s why they are offering gold and prizes this year. Because so few people even bother turning up to vote every year that they are unable to open the meeting!
Dear Svcitian,
My suggestion is that you post an advertisement about the new blog on the notice board in each tower. Because it’s a public service announcement it is FREE.
Make one copy for each tower and take them to the SV Office in Tower 2, Podium Level. They will post them in each tower. That way maybe you’ll get some more traffic.
As far as I know.. it was NOT Free.. (about THB800 for posting a notice). Previously I enquired about this in the lobby while starting up the ‘svcitybkk’ google groups.
If you have reason to believe otherwise or any suggestions for sharing the cost to post such an ad.. please make your comments.
If people are willing to share the cost then let’s do it.
How about the first 8 commenters on this page (including myself).
Click Here to see the notice created for the Google Groups which was never posted.
Perhaps because you asked the desk officer and they didn’t know.
About two years ago I had a notice posted in every tower regarding the AGM. It was free.
And also you’ll notice that the http://www.prakard SV website has an ad on the board in every (?) lobby.
You need to ask in the SV Juristic Office in Tower 2, Podium Level. They are the ones who will do it. As long as you aren’t selling something it should be free.
SVCitian,
Your banner ad was accepted by the SV Juristic Office. They will post it on the notice board of every tower free-of-charge.
Good Luck!
wonderful news… will have a look out for the ad in the lobby. thanks.
and also.. will keep a close watch on the site stats.
hope SV residents don’t crash the wordpress site…
guys! please visit one by one.. not all at once 🙂 LOL
Your banner ad is already up on the notice board in my tower. I didn’t check the other towers but I assume they are posted. Good Luck and let’s hope people are willing to get involved.
It’s great you’ve created this website but don’t expect too much. There are several big obstacles. First of all SV City is about 2/3’s empty. And of the units which are occupied most are renters who have no real ties to SV City. And, after all that, of the owner-occupied units how many are English-speaking? Probably not that many.
Even if you look at the Prakard SV website which is in Thai, hardly anyone posts. And a couple of years back a group of foreigners at SV approached people at the Prakard site about creating a bi-lingual on-line Owner’s Association and there was no interest from the Thai side what-so-ever. For that matter, no one shows up at the AGM either.
The water from the filtered water machine at the ground floor of our tower tastes terrible. It’s worse than tap water.
We are now ordering delivered water from Nestle. It’s 60 baht per 5 gallon drum.
You can order from Nestle: 02-789-9090
we get ours for THB50 (same volume) from a different vendor (NOT Nestle).
Comes every Sunday only about 10am.
Need a good Electrician?
I hired this electrician to install an extra electric wall socket in my unit. He came on-time, had all the tools needed for the job, successfully installed the socket, and cleaned-up afterwards (!!!) . The price was also very fair.
His name is Khun Pravit and his cell number is 081-989-3169.
Thanks to those of you who have made positive comments.
Others.. please do keep your comments rolling.. and more importantly please consider contributing to the page.
I certainly can’t do this alone.. I just want to keep the initial momentum strong so that this blog can go a long way eventually helping out everyone in SV…
If I can’t get any support from you all, eventually I or this blog will lose momentum and come to a stop.
So, please do spread the word and consider to contribute useful information and articles… and write comments on the postings.
I will try to make the submission process as easy as possible. I am learning it on the go myself.
Please look in the homepage for any updates and how you can contribute during this initial phase.
Useful Contacts and Information Page is being currently revamped and will be published shortly.
Its really nice way to arrange info and activity for SV community ,
its realy very good start good wishes
It might be useful to let people know who is running this website. Are you residents? Co-owners? Management? SV Committee Members?
KJC
am a resident. first started the google groups page ‘svcitybkk’ with 3 fellow moderators (all are residents only) and now got it promoted to wordpress blog.
